I had a reservation at 8 PM. We were greeted by the hostess at 8 PM and sat immediately, but the server did not attend to our table until I got up at almost 8:30 PM to ask the hostess if someone can take our order. The hostess came over to take our order, and then a server came 10 minutes after that to tell us that the items that we wanted were no longer available. So glad we got here before they close next month. I've always enjoyed coming here for date night and reccomend reservations. I'm giving 5 stars across the board from past visits too, but they were busy and short staffed so we waited for the server longer than usual. Also it was chilly and they don't have enough heat lamps to keep everyone comfortable. Given they were short staffed and unfortunately closing in May I'm giving them grace. I’m rarely profiled in a major city like Los Angeles, but I guess there are always exceptions. I made a reservation to bring my mother here for her 75th Birthday to celebrate. Upon being sat at a less desirable table on its own, dark and facing a wall, I requested one of several nicer tables in the main outdoor seating area since so many were empty. For the price, it’s somewhat mediocre. My biggest complaint is the waiter being far too casual by calling me, “Boss.” I can’t stand that slang. Please just call me sir. And to top off my failed quest for a quiet little breakfast, two bussers casually leaned against a table nearby and yammered on for 10 minutes. I couldn’t wait to finish my meal and leave.
I love this place, great atmosphere, friendly staff and food was amazing. Looking forward to our next visit.
