RecommendedI would definitely refer and recommend the Vt. federal Credit Union. I think it is a safe institution and feel comfortable using this credit union. Whenever I go in for a transaction the tellers are always so friendly and courteous. Also personable. Because I live in a small town this credit union feels like a small town bank which I love. Aren't equally responsible to all long good standing members
I love this Credit Union! I’ve banked here for 28 years; when I moved to PA five years ago, I thought it might be easier to switch banks, but I chose to stay with the Credit Union. Keeping my banking history and always a having a positive experience was important to me. Today, I received a surprise package in the mail in response to me calling to get a replacement debit card because my puppy had chewed mine. We have banked with VFCU for about 5 years now. While rebuilding our credit we pulled a loan, all went well. Then we pulled an auto loan, let’s say that didn’t go so well. The loan officer we were assigned went on vacation the day after we started car shopping. Wasn’t available for a week. Communication was non existent in terms of the loan. This place is a joke. When shopping for your banking needs, I would recommend New England Federal Credit Union. VFCU app is misleading, not user friendly, and frequently gives wrong information. The supervisors and tellers are so rude and do not like making their wrongs right. Not to mention the lack of branches and ATM machines. It’s not convenient at all if you live in the Colchester/Essex area.

I’ve had my account with them for 18 yrs and haven’t had a problem until today. How dare you ask me what I’m going to do with my money, I’ll spend it or give it to who ever I want too!!! Also just because I’m a woman you ask me, but when my husband when to withdraw a whole heck of a lot more money than me you never asked him!!!
