New finds all the time! Having habituated several vintage clothing shops, I found this one to have well informed staff, amazing variety for the 1920s-60s and reasonable prices for the quality. Especially worth a trip for anyone into WWII or 20th century reenacting.
pick up some vintage steals! A shopping magazine I read featured a few Frederick shops on its local page, so I stopped in at a few, including Venus on the Half Shell. I love to shop thrift stores, but don't have much patience to sift through the racks. At this shop, though, everything seemed worth a look, there was nothing obviously ugly or worthless. RecommendedMy granddaughter and I stopped in on New Year’s Day and purchased the lovely flapper dress and headpiece that is included with the pics on this site. The lady that assisted us was terrific and was as excited as we were about the dress!
They have such cute vintage clothes. I will definitely be back!
