Went under contract to purchase a new build Once construction started we found out that the orientation on the lot had to be changed so we loose square footage and other changes due to this Our option was take it or leave it - someone else is buying now I assume

The Retreat At Eagle Rock is where they are currently building, we wasted two weeks of our time going to meetings with builders etc when all along they knew are selected lot and elevation floor plan , down to the day of signing a contract proceeded to email us and tell us we could have the lot we chose or the elevation bc oops the sales man Pete just realized after TWO WEEKS of knowing the lot and floor plan that the lot beside the one we had chose was building a similar home , then told us our only option was a different lo... read more

Moved into Venture Homes new Greer Park community (Mableton) a few weeks ago. Build quality is okay, nothing majorly wrong, but some walls uneven and fireplace seems to be leaking natural gas. Biggest issue is builder's lack of communication with Cobb County and utility companies. We currently can't receive U.S. mail/deliveries or get emergency services because there is no street sign. Venture Homes is your typical "do the bare minimum to get by" type company. I do not think they supervise their subcontractors very well. You won't get craftsmanship, however, many times their homes are priced low. So, you get what you pay for. They do not have customer service. You can call and never receive a call back unless you continually bug them. It is very frustrating and stressful to deal with them. Good builder We've lived in a Venture Homes townhome for over 3 years now. The build quality isn't the best, but its par for the price range. We had a few problems after living in the house for awhile but overall its been a good property and most of the time Venture has been helpful.
