We chose to buy in Old Mill specifically because it is a gated community, which was a critical factor for us. Unfortunately, Venture Communities spent thousands of dollars of our HOA funds on an incredibly unreliable gate system that has completely failed to function as intended. I wish I could get a response to any of the numerous warranty requests I have submitted. Your website claims a representative will reach out via phone to acknowledge the claim request. I've heard nothing for months. I've submitted multiple requests via your online form with no response.
The team was nice and communicated well! I would buy from them again in the future.
Probably the worst developer and most untrustworthy people I have dealt with. Craig Epp, CFO of Venture Communities, spent 20k on a gate system in Old Mill in Calhoun, GA and it turned out to be complete trash. Instead of fixing it, a group of homeowners was left to try and deal with the problem on a voluntary basis, with no real support from him at all.
