About this business
The history of the Greenhouse goes back approximately 100 years. In the early 1900's it began as a six room apartment house. In 1932 during prohibition it was known as a speakeasy. In the late 30's and early 40's it became a tavern serving patrons on occasion such as the notorious Dillinger and friends. Wouldn't make in MGATE without the GREENHOUSE! Awesome food, phenomenal pizza, excellent service even now in the off season!
When you want to have fun on the beach and getting hungry too you never have to leave it just walk right up to their deck and enjoy some great food Even if you don't see Lou Ventura better believe he's watching his kitchen ����

What a great place. We never usually come to Margate but we wanted to see Lucy. Afterwards, we saw Venturas and decided to give the downstairs a try. What a friendly warm place! I told the server that the cheeseburger I had was by far the best I've had in a long time. Sweet potato fries were good too! Definitely will be making this a regular stop.
