Ate here on Labor Day. We were staying at The Elms and had read good reviews. Had chicken Parmesan. Chicken was dry and cheese on top was not melted. Pasta sauce was tasteless. My husband had shrimp scampi. It was mostly mushrooms. Mushrooms in scampi! Service was good and friendly. Don't mind paying the price when food was good but it was only fair.
I had the Cajun shrimp BLT with aioli and homemade potato salad, then took home a piece of bread pudding. The sandwich was well-seasoned, not spicy, but definitely Cajun. The potato salad appeared to be made with skin-on red potatoes and delicious! The bread pudding had a velvety soft texture and the sauce was like caramel but with something extra that made it better than just your typical caramel sauce. I brought my grandparents here for the food! My grandmother is not a big eater but she had the fish and I could not believe how much she ate! She loved it! As always food is amazing and service was over the top! Thank you all.
Great service, friendly staff and excellent food. The 10 oz. sirloin with loaded mashed potatoes and green beans were outstanding.
