I LOVE my Venta! I've been through so many other humidifiers and each one has broken within 6 months or less. This one is soooo easy to refill and there isn't the mist coming out soaking everything near it. The cats love it. I find them sitting next to it often. I needed a replacement part, and received it very quickly. It was very easy to replace. It's also a great machine because it can be cleaned unlike your normal humidifier. And it's easy to clean. I highly recommend purchasing a Venta!
Things are looking bleak. Only used the product for two months, and suddenly it's completely inoperable. A green light flashes but nothing happens -- just like calling customer service: you call, a recording takes your message, and nothing happens. Time to go on twitter and tell more people about this expensive, bad product and even worse service.

I have had two Venta airwashers now for twelve years...and they are still going strong. I need that humidity going for me and my antique furniture, as I live in arid Arizona. .
If anyone's Venta won't turn on, open it up and check the power to the motor. It might be unplugged! :)
I called Venta and spoke with a person very quickly and they were helpful answering my questions. I had no problems whatsoever. :)
ANYONE HOME???? I'm having the same problem. I need to replace the motor on 2 of my units and no response same response as below "I'm not here but will be back soon" Not cool to say the least these units are very expensive and better customer service should be provided.

ANYONE HOME? In the last three wks, I've left three emails and three voicemails to get a replacement linkage. I got two "I'm not here but will be back soon" replies. But nothing further. That's crummy service.
