This evening, as I made my usual trek up the stairs to The Old Venice Pub, instead of being greeted by the familiar friendly faces of Keshia or Chad, I was greeted by the beaming death rays of a thousand suns in the form of an offensive new light fixture in the stairwell. My corneas were seared like tuna steaks. No amount of alcohol will make me less upset about this shitty light. I will always give OVP 5 stars, even when I am blinded by their appliances, but someone take this damn thing down. Jesus.
I smoked inside and ran the juke box all night. It was glorious.
