Always great for hipster-watching, Vendetta is a local watering hole for those that can't be bothered to talk to you, let alone get you a beer. Late night, though? I used to get the nachos a lot and that was good.
Terrible Bartenders – Embarassingly enough the bartenders can't vet out of state licenses and will deny those showing non-OR. not remotely worth the trek to newly gentrified NE
worth the trek – They have a great patio out back, shuffleboard and tasty sangria. They have no sign which helps keep it local,uncrowded and great place to meet friends.
Cute bar! This is a fun bar in North Portland to go to on a summer night. They have good specials, too, like Tallboy Tuesdays. Their patio is the best! Definitely check it out if you want a cheap drink in a nice space.
Good chill bar This is a great spot in NE. They open the garage doors in the summer and have a huge shuffleboard table. The outdoor area is open and can fit a nice sized group. They have a decent happy hour and serve cheap Rainier on Sundays
Good Drinks This is a nice spot to stop in after shopping in the Hawthorne district. Grab a few drinks and some satisfying food and head out for the night. You can't miss the giant V outside!
Add me to the list – Yeah, I could see some kind of quaintness in staff-bitchiness if it wasn't the blandest bar in North Portland. By the way, is it a coincidence that this bar opened the same summer as that movie of the same name? I guess the owners just really like Natalie Portman and ugly, arrogant bartenders with out-of-control cleavage.
Great Drinks – Went here for the first time last wk, not an after-work crowd rather, lots of locals. (Everyone was there in their t-shirts and jeans or shorts at 5:30pm on a Friday, don't people work anymore???) Had 4 drinks and a lg plate of nachos during happy hour and it was great! The place was crowded and busy but the bartenders were great. The drinks were inexpensive but nice and strong! Great bar and great food Vendetta is a popular neighborhood bar with good drinks and good food. They have a couple of pool tables in the front and a lot of outdoor seating in the back in good weather. Gets pretty crowded on weekend nights.
