I purchased a 2000 Volvo from Venable and Son a couple of years ago and couldn't be happier. So happy in fact, that we purchased a 2013 Mazda Cx5 from them this year. They are so friendly and helpful and most of all I know that they take pride in what cars they offer for sale on their lot and do their best to give you all the information they have on a vehicle. This dealer was very friendly and made us (wife) feel at home and like family. We test drove the CR-V and made a GREAT DEAL on the Honda. I would tell all my friends to purchase from Venable & Son if they are looking for a great deal with a dealer that is honest and up front about all they know about the vehicle they are selling.
The car we purchased was in good shape, and this family owned and operated dealership was very responsive when trying to close the deal. They made sure that someone was there to show me the car, as I was coming from 40 min. away, and seemed pleasant and honest. However, in discussing the purchase, I informed Mr. Venable of my hesitation in buying from an "as is" dealer after another bad experience I had previously with my older son's vehicle.
