I absolutely love Vena Nail Salon! It’s such a wonderful neighborhood salon, and everyone is always professional, welcoming, and kind. Kim does my builder gel nails, and she is fantastic! She gets the shape and polish perfect every single time, and my nails always look beautiful. Hannah usually does my pedicures and does a wonderful job as well. They were so kind! I came in after my wedding to get my acrylics off. I’d gotten my pink nail jammed in a door and had injured the nail pretty badly. I wasn’t sure if they’d be able to help or if I’d just have to let it grow out, but Tammy was so gentle in filing it down and cutting it so it doesn’t hurt nearly as much anymore (the weight in the end was killing me!). Unhygienic, unaesthetic, and left my nails in pain. Booked a noon (lunch) appointment for a simple short, round, gel manicure - it took 1.5 hours instead of the usual 30-45 minutes. The technician was clearly inexperienced and aggressively over-filed my nails, cutting three of them down to the root. A second tech tried to fix the unevenness after I started asking questions, but the result was still uneven lengths, ragged cuticles and edges, and almost no nail thickness left.
