Our cake was perfect. It arrived early despite the rain and people were commenting and taking pictures of it all day long. I highly recommend Velvet Sky for any event.
I went to order a wedding cake. Nice so far. Met with Jordan. Said she was too busy getting out other orders this Saturday morning. No other customers in store but me. I told her i knew what I wanted. Didnt need taste tasting or anything. Just order the cake. Still she is too busy TO HELP A CUSTOMER!!!. TOLD ME TO COME BACK TUESDAY. That is 4 days, not later in the day or the next day. Bad customer service. Wont go back and will tell everyone i know not to go there either.
Had an elephant cupcake cake made for my sister's baby shower which turned out amazing not to mention the cupcakes itself which everybody enjoyed. Flavors were banana foster, chocolate raspberry and vanilla. Highly highly recommend the banana foster!
The cakes are great but more important the staff cares. The owner does the cake deliveries
Needed a Gluten free cake for a co-workers birthday, Was expecting to get a birthday cake that you can get from any bakery only gluten free, but to my surprise it was beautifully done. They not only did a beautiful job, it was delicious as well. Now I have a new place to go.

Went to a Christmas party over the weekend and had your blueberry pear pie which was fantastic! Also had a little your apple, pecan and pumpkin pies which were also very good.
Velvet Sky Bakery exceeded my expectations by making a vegan Elsa cake for my daughter's 5th birthday! I have had a hard time finding a bakery that makes specialty vegan cakes... But, I have finally found my new favorite bakery!!!! Thanks Velvet Sky!!!
Worst Bakery in the region, ordered a birthday cake not worth the money. Owner is rude and arrogant. Philly magazine should do a better job with its research before nominating business . It ruined a birthday party guests literally threw the cake it was that bad.
They did our cupcakes for our wedding and it was exactly what I was hoping for!! Jordan really understood my vision and she did an amazing job! The cupcakes were a huge hit!!
