On April 16th, 2016 my daughter and son in law's wedding cake was delivered to the Hotel Palomar in Philadelphia, by Jordan Harvey, owner of Velvet Sky Bakery and Café, in Jenkinstown, PA. My issue is not with the style of the cake nor the taste. My issue is with the missing cake topper that was never delivered with the cake and at no time did it ever arrive. The sticky buns are the best I've ever eaten and the owner is such a nice lady.
Velvet sky made a sweet sweet half batman, half teal ombre cake for my engagement party/wedding preception. It turned out even better than I could have imagined, and not only did they arrive early, but also helped fix a wobbly table situation. I'm writing this as I eat some leftover cake (2 days old), and it still tastes fantastic! Definitely the place to go for wedding cakes. Or any cake, for that matter.
