Favorite Store in Frederick! I'm fairly new to the Frederick area and I was recently shopping in Express in Francis Scott Key Mall and the girl working at the counter had on a really cute top. I asked her if it was sold there in Express and she said "No, its actually from a store in downtown Frederick called 'Velvet Lounge' and its my favorites store!" NO Velvet Loung is awful. The service was horrible and the store was a mess. Also not a very good selection everything looked the same. This is not a place I would ever go again to shop.
Great Store I have been into Velvet Lounge a couple of times and both times the person working was nice and friendly and asked if i needed any help. I love the selection of clothing and accessories that they carry. They have Free People, which is my favorite clothing brand to look at...unfortunately, it is a bit expensive. $100.00 for a shirt is bit steep, but not any more expensive than other stores with the same brands...if I had money I would spend alot there.
It's the best store you'll ever go to! Who ever think's this store is to over priced is nut's if u havent notices it's disigner brand's! The workers are the nicest people i've ever meet especially cuz i'm realated to them so i would know if u want good cloth's go there it's the best!
Way too expensive for the quality!! This place is way too expensive. The quality is weak for the price. Service is not friendly. This is a shame because the store it self is attractive and fun, but it takes more than colors and frills to make a Great store!
trendy clothes and accessories I stopped in Velvet Lounge after seeing a blurb about it in a shopping magazine. The atmosphere is cool and very modern, and unlike stores in a mall, it's open and airy, with lots of room to move around and browse. The clothing styles were geared toward teens and young women. Prices were a bit high, but on par for the labels they carry.
