trendy clothes and accessories I stopped in Velvet Lounge after seeing a blurb about it in a shopping magazine. The atmosphere is cool and very modern, and unlike stores in a mall, it's open and airy, with lots of room to move around and browse. The clothing styles were geared toward teens and young women. Prices were a bit high, but on par for the labels they carry. Fabulous! I'm from washington dc and I come to the velvet lounge about every 3 weeks because I love that they always have new clothing. I think the store is clean and organized and they present their clothing so nice! I would recommed shopping here for sure!
NO Velvet Loung is awful. The service was horrible and the store was a mess. Also not a very good selection everything looked the same. This is not a place I would ever go again to shop.
Just OK Not a bad place to shop, but not a whole lot of stuff that was my style and it was a bit pricey, nice atmosphere though
I LOVE VL! i have been shopping at velvet lounge for years and have never once been disappointed! I usually go in once every couple of weeks and there is always new inventory! The staff is always helpful when I need advice or sizes! This store is unique and that's what I love. Free people is one of my favorite brands and they just recently won a contest and now feature a free people pop up shop and only a couple of store in the USA have one! Great Store I have been into Velvet Lounge a couple of times and both times the person working was nice and friendly and asked if i needed any help. I love the selection of clothing and accessories that they carry. They have Free People, which is my favorite clothing brand to look at...unfortunately, it is a bit expensive. $100.00 for a shirt is bit steep, but not any more expensive than other stores with the same brands...if I had money I would spend alot there.
Best store ever! Velvet Lounge is by far the best store in Frederick and beyond!! Hands down! The staff is amazing! They are so helpful and do their best to help you find everything that you are looking for and more! They will also call you when they get in items that they think you will like and keep you up to date with the items that will be arriving in the store! Talk about service! Way too expensive for the quality!! This place is way too expensive. The quality is weak for the price. Service is not friendly. This is a shame because the store it self is attractive and fun, but it takes more than colors and frills to make a Great store!
Favorite Store in Frederick! I'm fairly new to the Frederick area and I was recently shopping in Express in Francis Scott Key Mall and the girl working at the counter had on a really cute top. I asked her if it was sold there in Express and she said "No, its actually from a store in downtown Frederick called 'Velvet Lounge' and its my favorites store!"
