Fabulous! I'm from washington dc and I come to the velvet lounge about every 3 weeks because I love that they always have new clothing. I think the store is clean and organized and they present their clothing so nice! I would recommed shopping here for sure!
Awesome place to shop!!!! Velvet Lounge is my favorite place to shop. They always carry the latest styles and trends. I have been shopping there for over 10 years and can still remember my very first purchase there all those years ago. Velvet Lounge carries my favorite brand of clothing called "Free People" as well as some other favorites such as "Volcom" and "OBEY." NO Velvet Loung is awful. The service was horrible and the store was a mess. Also not a very good selection everything looked the same. This is not a place I would ever go again to shop.
Just OK Not a bad place to shop, but not a whole lot of stuff that was my style and it was a bit pricey, nice atmosphere though
I LOVE VL! i have been shopping at velvet lounge for years and have never once been disappointed! I usually go in once every couple of weeks and there is always new inventory! The staff is always helpful when I need advice or sizes! This store is unique and that's what I love. Free people is one of my favorite brands and they just recently won a contest and now feature a free people pop up shop and only a couple of store in the USA have one! Great Store I have been into Velvet Lounge a couple of times and both times the person working was nice and friendly and asked if i needed any help. I love the selection of clothing and accessories that they carry. They have Free People, which is my favorite clothing brand to look at...unfortunately, it is a bit expensive. $100.00 for a shirt is bit steep, but not any more expensive than other stores with the same brands...if I had money I would spend alot there.
So Much Better Than the Mall! I am writing just to let you know that this store is the best boutique ever!! I am so tired of going to the mall and shopping through the same old stuff. Everybody is always wearing the same crap. It's so nice to finally find a store in Frederick that has cool brands like Free People, Volcom and Obey. They have a great denim selection too. Best store ever! Velvet Lounge is by far the best store in Frederick and beyond!! Hands down! The staff is amazing! They are so helpful and do their best to help you find everything that you are looking for and more! They will also call you when they get in items that they think you will like and keep you up to date with the items that will be arriving in the store! Talk about service! Favorite Store in Frederick! I'm fairly new to the Frederick area and I was recently shopping in Express in Francis Scott Key Mall and the girl working at the counter had on a really cute top. I asked her if it was sold there in Express and she said "No, its actually from a store in downtown Frederick called 'Velvet Lounge' and its my favorites store!"
