Charged us $575 to replace a small thermocouple in our gas fireplace. Unbelievable! I discussed this exorbitant charge with them but they felt the $575 charge was reasonable. Had to replace the sameThermocouple again and this time I called Pipeline Heating and Plumbing who did the same job in one hour and for under $250.
I contacted Veltex regarding a furnace repair in November which was important to get done quickly for an elderly tenant. Despite being busy they got there and did the repair the same day I called. My first experience with Vertex but it was great service and I will use them in the future.
We tried to install our own digital thermostat - got a bit complicated, and as a result, we were without heat for a few days. I called Veltex, and despite being busy, they fit us in before their regular appointments for the day. Fast, friendly and effective work. Very happy with the service and impressed with the trouble shooting. Highly recommend!!!
