the sick irony to all of this excruciating pain is 1) there was no backup plan to the dissociation; 2) if the truth were told of that session, the energy spent would be on the mother and not the unqualified therapist. All of these years of pain caused by the therapist could have been used on why the mother did what she did, why the client feels the way she does, how the client did not do wrong; but instead, the time and wasted pain and energy was spent on the therapist - the guilt, the hurt, the extreme pain, the suicidal th... read more

and so the lie and deception become more and more THE TRUTH: " What was used is sometimes used in hypnosis, but is not strictly a hypnotic technique. I learned a similar technique somewhere along the line in my training as a psychotherapist, but I am not sure who invented it or to what theory it belongs. Especially for Therapists Dissociation is a major stumbling block to progress in therapy because it severely diminishes the client's ability to be present. It's a significant barrier for working on trauma and developmental issues in particular because it can mask the client's true psychophysiological state. Without a clear picture of what's happening, the therapist can't monitor, let alone regulate, the client's level of activation. Diane Poole Heller1 likens dissociation to a circuit breaker shutting off when house wiring g... read more

Therapy101: Do not ever EVER lie to the client. Never blindside the client with a hypnotic technique. You have no idea of what the pain is that is being done. You cannot base a healthy relationaship on a lie. There will never be a safe feeling for the client; and there will certainly never be any healing for the client. The therapist will be in constant “how do I protect this lie”. The client will continue to live with the pain till the client dies, but the therapist will feel guilt, shame and inadequacy for the rest of thei... read more

Claire Frederick, Carol Veits & Laura Bouzan know this was done to the client, yet choose not to stand up and do the right thing: (email to professional Bill O;Hanlon): As an expert in hypnosis, could you please answer a question for me. I have ptsd and have been in pain for most of my life. A therapist I was seeing, recognized this pain and in one session asked me what color was the pain, and what shape was the pain. Soon after in another session, she suggested bringing the pain fully to the next session. At that next sessi... read more

"6) KEEP your promises. Try to only offer the support that you are CAPABLE of giving. This varies tremendously among individuals. It is often better to be HONEST about how much YOU CAN DO for someone up front, rather than to MAKE A PROMISE that YOU CAN'T KEEP. That may have NEGATIVE consequences for both you (no one gives a ratsazz about you) and the SURVIVOR." - mdsa.org Too bad, Carol Veits, Laura Bouzan, Claire Frederick were to egotistical to see what SHE DID and continues to do. Shame on them! Shame on VHer.

after forcing a hypnotic technique, blackout on the client, the client was in so much pain, the client should have been hospitalized. But the therapist was so pleased and delighted with what she had done, she was too selfish to think of what really happened to the client. Peer group members, Carol Veits, Laura Bouzan, and supervisor Dr (sic) Claire Frederick failed in their responsibility to report the therapist and what had taken place. Failed all code of sw's ethics ;bringing no harm to the client; not seeing that the clie... read more
