Booked a stay at The Ridge in Clemson through Vector Travel via Whimstay. Don't do it. . . Avoid this property; fyi it is an off-campus student housing complex. I didn't realize this, but wasn't an issue. - I was never sent my check-in code and spent an hour being bounced between numbers while the "front desk" was closed. I was eventually told my reserved unit was unavailable and moved to a "loud" substitute by non-English speaking workers that Whimstay found on-prem. - Walls are paper-thin. I had an absolutely horrible experience with one of their reps on the air b n b platform . She then blocked me and expected for me to keep my reservation or lose 50% of what I have paid . Horrible customer service . I have decided to file a chargeback
Do not clean for vector travel. ISSUES ISSUES AND MORE ISSUES. Their rates are low, they want you to clean and basically be the property manager. Mickey Kropf will treat you like a child and tell you how you have “lack of effort” if there is even a small issue. Which we were resolving the follow day but they wanted it done right then and there. We’ve never had an issue until that 1 time. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. The unit was on the 4th floor and yet it felt as through the clubs in the building were in the room with me. LOUD BASE UNTIL 3AM. The building and unit had a gnat problem and smelled like mildew. The hot water stopped working twice AND the company charged me $250 for “damages” such as dirt on the floor. OVERPRICED AND UNREASONABLE.
