I am so not happy with the way we were treated, we were talked down to and like we didn't understand we had a very sick turtle when we came in today. This is the second time my daughter has had its experience with this agency but they are the only place we have found that treats reptiles. We are looking for a new vet for my grandsons!
Dr. Benner is kind, caring, and considerate on all levels. He always gives all the available treatment options, and their benefits and risks, but never presses anyone to do expensive, unnecessary tests. He does not know prices of the top of his head, but always gets a quote for any option that the caregiver is considering. I love VCA SH. Drs. Hrones & Benner are outstanding veterinarians. Their staff is welcoming, and, comforting.
The diagnostic process seems always to include several hundred dollars in tests. Dr Benner would not mention the cost of tests and treatment before they were done. He had staff pressure me to do the $400 blood panel last time I took my dying cat to him. I refused and went to an all-around better vet, who took one x-ray and diagnosed the cat as having lung cancer. I will never go back to VCA. The staff are fine. The vets are out to make money, not there to help you with your beloved pet.
We love Dr. Benner and the staff at VCA South Hadley!! We take our two dogs and two rabbits here. They are always so caring with our babies. Both of my dogs pull my arm off to get in the office every time because they love it there so much!!
