We established our fur-babies' care with Dr. Mendelson and Dr. Womack when we moved to Austin. They are great with our cats and we are very thankful for that. We have always had a great experience with VCA Northwest's caring, friendly, staff and have maintained care with them despite moving to 30 minutes away to an area with 3 local veterinary clinics in walking distance.

I just moved here, so maybe this is how most of the vets do it, but I brought my dog to get a shot and be boarded and he got aggressive with the nurses and doctor. They took him to the back room to get his shot and I couldn't go back there. Of course he's going to freak out! He has no idea who these people are or why he is there. He never bit my Veterinarian at home and the vet even petted him and gave him treats and all of the nurses there never had any problems with him.
