I used to think this was the best vet in Forney. We have taken our dogs here for years (including our foster dogs). That changes today, my dog was throwing up and having diarrhea and we were turned away! They told me to drive to the emergency clinic in Mesquite. The doctors are great but the fact that emergencies are not a priority is upsetting.
People please, DO NOT take your pets to VCA Animal Hospital (what used to be Forney Animal Hospital) they do not care about your pets. This clinic in particular is in Forney, and they are careless with your pets, my healthy pet died while under their care, they give out expired medications and say is not a big deal. This franchise takes over a clinic and does not change the name, so you don’t know they are owned by VCA until you see their invoice or subtle indications. Been taking my Animals here for 13 yrs, a fantastic vet. Dr. Nix is awesome and can't say enough about her! the stuff is great also.
Love the docs here and they have always been amazing to all of our dogs!!
I seriously can not say enough good things about VCA! They love both of our dogs, and know who they are even when they’re not with us. We’ve had our female spayed, and just had our male neutered. They (our pups) decided to rip his stitches out, so we called to find out what we needed to do. VCA stayed late so we could come get another cone and were extremely understanding, they also got us set up with an appointment for the next morning. We wouldn’t take our pups to anyone else!
I would definitely recommend. The staff and Vets care so much and they take the time to explain everything. I will definitely be going back!
My dogs have been patients for over 5 years. They love it! And are well taken care of.
Great place especially if your dog/dogs do not like their nails trimmed. I’ve always had problems with my Lab but the techs here are wonderful and get the job done! Will never go any where else! The staff is super friendly!
