I’ve been coming here a year now. The care that my pups get from the entire staff and the beautiful soul Dr Olhs!! I finally feel I’m getting better care and understanding.
The doctors, vet techs, and staff are all knowledgeable and friendly. The doctors who we’ve seen here take the time to fully explain their medical advice and they always answer all our questions. Going to the vet with a sick dog is a very troubling experience, yet the people here somehow turn it into a positive experience. It truly feels like we’re taking our dog to this office to be treated by family.
In late March my friend had Covid and her dog was very sick. Nobody would agree to see her, so I called my vets at Farmingville Animal Hospital. The office manager was hesitant and offered to arrange a vet to teledoc. 5 minutes later she called back and said the Doc wants to see her. Please bring her in. You could tell they were nervous (so was I!) but they were more worried about this sick dog who before that was not their client. They cared more about the dog’s safety then their own. My name is Dawn DeSola... I'm Q-ball's mommy. The 1st week of this month I raced my baby to you in such a panic bc he was running a dangerously high fever out of nowhere. I called from the parking lot and the manager and nurse came running out to help. They both ran him inside bc his tongue was turning blue from lack of oxygen. Dr. Dar is wonderful. She always goes above and beyond to make sure my fur baby gets the best care. I have never had any issues with this hospital or anyone who works there....for the past 8 years.
Everybody there is so sweet and patient. Dr. Olds and Dr. Palmero have so much patience with me and my 5 million questions. And they always bend down and play with my dog which I’ve noticed a lot of other vets don’t always do. They clearly love what they do and they’re great at it. Every recommendation I’ve ever been given by them has turned out so great for me and my dog.

When to other hospitals gave my cat bogey No chance of survival without a $4000 operation Dr. olds In a moment of brilliance came up with a plan C that I actually had a shot of affording and it saved my boy. The price was A fraction of the price we had been quoted And the care by the doctor And the entire staff was over the top compassionate and just downright loving. I often miss Dr. Jacobson and doctor Z what’s the torch has been passed Dr. olds is running with it. Thank you for saving my boy bogey.
