RecommendedThe vets and staff here our absolutely amazing! Our little Hallow was diagnosed with parvovirus at about 5 weeks old. They were very up front with us letting us know that she might not make it because with parvo they can do great one day but go down hill the next ! VCA traumatized our pet My wife and I came home late from work to find our cat with a swollen front right paw. We immediately brought him to VCA Emergency Care in Mission Valley. They called us after several hours because they could not find any signs of infection or trauma, and they wanted to run x-rays. They administered a sedative to his back-right leg and proceeded to take x-rays (which revealed no breaks or injuries and they sent him home without a diagnosis). After being isolated at home for many weeks during this pandemic, I was a wreck when my senior Pittie had an emergency allergic reaction in the middle of the night. Dr. Chin and the VCA staff were incredible, even though they were overflowing with patients. I would give this place less than 1 star if I could. Yesterday, I noticed a mass which felt like it was in my dog’s throat. Since it was a Saturday, and my regular vet was closed, I called VCA Animal Hospital. They told me it was a 6-8 hr wait and that I should come in the early morning the next morning to be seen.
