I know a lot of people think Bloomington VCA is expensive, but that hasn't been the case for me! Their caring staff and wonderful care is worth every penny. Dr. Gehlhaus is absolutely amazing. When my kitty Oven had bladder stones, she texted me every couple days to check on her and to reassure me. We had a few phone conversations where she was very clear about the risks of attempting dissolution of Oven's stones via diet versus an incredibly expensive surgery, but recommended we attempt diet changes first instead of springi... read more

Dr. Schloss and the staff have been excellent with my cats. Two seniors I had and now two new guys in our house. I highly recommend VCA Bloomington.
Medical staff is wonderful, kind and supportive. I've been going there for many, many years because of the competent medical staff, and the supportive environment. They are team players, and I like that.
Lot of misunderstanding and miscommunications with the billing staff at this location. Due to them not taking responsibility for their errors, I won't be doing business with them any longer. If you sign up for a year long kitten program to cover the cost of visits, shots and more, be sure you're aware that they auto-enroll you in another yearly program.

My black and white cat is dead. I went in to your vet and a different vet because he was hiding well he died and I’m pretty sure he was sick ever since I got him from the stupid humane society. And he didn’t have feline leukemia. And I went in to your vet before that for my other cat and you guys said it was normal well it turned out to be an ear infection. You’re veterinarians are stupid at all your locations.
I bring my adult cat here as well as my new kitten. They always treat my animals with respect and compassion- even when my adult cat is not well behaved! They are so informative and take great care to educate pet owners!
