My dog's physical exam was very productive today with Dr. Austin. It's been a while since I feel the money has been well spent with a vet. Today was my dog's first visit here. Even though the hospital is not currently allowing owners to be physically present, it's not hard to tell that the staff there has taken the time to handled my dog with great care and patience. 0 communication. Been standing at the front desk for 10 minutes now and no one has even said hi. Waiting to check out is a whole other nightmare. Go literally any place else.

So we had boarded our cats at the VCA Bay Area Animal Hospital in Oakland while we were evacuated due to the Kincade Fire. They were *AMAZING* about taking them right when I came in (even though I would have normally had to wait hours for a doctor to get there to give them an exam). I just got here to pick them up, and I asked if I could take care of paying while I wait for them to round them up. They told me there's no charge at all because we evacuated. Now I'm crying in the waiting room of a pet hospital.
