The main dish they serve at this restaurant is called the Thali plate. Amusingly, you are not allowed to share it. It's a good thing though because having the plate to yourself is very magical. There is a large section of the metal dish for rice in the metal plate surrounded by small metal bowls filled with saucy legumes or potatoes in various delicious spicy sauces. Thali is an interesting Indian cultural item - they bring you a platter of prepared food - you get what they are cooking. Vatica is vegetarian, but the food is consistently excellent and the staff is very friendly, I believe there is a menu if you don't want Thali, but we always have Thali. You can have seconds, thirds and you will want them. Great place

One of my absolute favorite places. But I do wish that the vegetable selection would include veggies that were not starch. Between rice, potatoes, beans, lentils, we don't really need peas or more potatoes in the veggie offering. Looking forward to my next visit!
