I was disappointed that 2 days after a cystoscopy procedure I developed sepsis and was hospitalized with IV antibiotics for over 2 days. No calls or stopping by the hospital from the Doctor or PA to see how I was doing. On the follow up, no apologies or concerns…when I told them they should put on the paperwork for this procedure the possibility of getting sepsis and I was told it only happens to less than 1% of patients, so they don’t speak of it…very disappointing.
My husband underwent a procedure in Dr. Sundaram’s office in which gold fiducial markers were placed in his prostate to guide radiation treatment. His experience was horrific from beginning to end. First, the doctor wasn’t ready for him on time, but he was prepped and required to lie with his feet in stirrups for twenty minutes while he waited.
