The Best Wings are the Louise Style – This place is awesome. Who ever wrote the review about the smoke well it is smoke free now. They have the best wings and the blue cheese is really chunky just the way I like it. I love the $2 beerstoo. Tuesdays is buy 10 wings get 10 free. YUMMY
The Best Wings..... I have been a regular at Varsity for the past 3 yrs. and there have been a lot of changes in the last several months. Ward, the new owner, has put in new carpet, flat screen TVs and has changed up the menu a little bit. Also, as of 2/28/09, there is NO SMOKING!!!! I have never has a problem with the wait staff....have always had friendly service. Full of Smoke – Plenty of Smoke and KIDS EAT FREE. What more could you want. When they go NON Smoking, I will re consider. Its a Bar with Children. Too much Smoke
Untrustworthy waiter named Jesse went to watchThe Boys Monday night football...1st of all, NOT kid friendly...there was so much smoke i could barely breathe - 2nd of all the waiter charged me the whole 54$ for the tables tab when i singed my reciept for 19$ . then when confronted he lied to me about why! The owner Marc accused me of walking out on the tab and said he was going to report me for FRAUD! then couldnt even show me my signed copy that the waiter took from me. he finally got over being CHEAP and credited my $ back ... read more
Could be better This place was ok. I did like the wings. Offering the kids eat free was great. The restrooms and restaurant were clean. The only complaint that I have is that the wait staff weren't very good. The took a long time to even acknowledge we were there. The service was very slow.
Good casual dinner place My family has eaten at Varsity Club a dozen times. I really like the place. It has a sports bar vibe, but is still kid-friendly. They even have an inflatable castle on the back patio where there is additional outdoor seating. The restrooms have always been clean. The place is often very crowded. Nice atmosphere, wings not always consistently good This is a great, family-friendly restaurant and sports bar. Free video games and karaoke for kids provide a great experience. The buffalo wings are hit and miss though. Sometimes they are great, but sometimes pretty small and dry also.
