Good Eats, Cold Beer Varsity is a great local place to get good food and drinks that won't break the bank. We go 4-5 times a month and have never had a bad time. The kids section is great and it is the best place to watch the big game. PROS: atmosphere, large selection of draft beer CONS: none

The Best Wings..... I have been a regular at Varsity for the past 3 yrs. and there have been a lot of changes in the last several months. Ward, the new owner, has put in new carpet, flat screen TVs and has changed up the menu a little bit. Also, as of 2/28/09, there is NO SMOKING!!!! I have never has a problem with the wait staff....have always had friendly service. Waitress sniffs drink? We used to go to the Varsity quite often. It was nice to go there because kids could eat free. The food is pretty good, I can't say anything bad about that, but the service is horrible. We could sit and try to get someones attention for 15-20 min before being helped. One waitress could not remember which drink was Dr. Pepper, and which was Coke...so she stuck her nose on the ridge of the glass and SMELLED THEM!! That is so disgusting for a server to do. great wings and beer good kids special nights - kids eat free. Great wings and beer. Nice kids room, but loud. Moderate in price. Maybe some are turned off bec. they don't offer more variety besides wings and basics. Adding a mushroom burger, tuna steak sandwich or garden burger would broaden their clientle.

Could be better This place was ok. I did like the wings. Offering the kids eat free was great. The restrooms and restaurant were clean. The only complaint that I have is that the wait staff weren't very good. The took a long time to even acknowledge we were there. The service was very slow.

Good casual dinner place My family has eaten at Varsity Club a dozen times. I really like the place. It has a sports bar vibe, but is still kid-friendly. They even have an inflatable castle on the back patio where there is additional outdoor seating. The restrooms have always been clean. The place is often very crowded. I always get the buffalo chicken sandwich or the fajitas; I like both a lot. They also have karoke nights (children first, then adult). I would recommend this place for a casual dinner with family. Untrustworthy waiter named Jesse went to watchThe Boys Monday night football...1st of all, NOT kid friendly...there was so much smoke i could barely breathe - 2nd of all the waiter charged me the whole 54$ for the tables tab when i singed my reciept for 19$ . then when confronted he lied to me about why! The owner Marc accused me of walking out on the tab and said he was going to report me for FRAUD! then couldnt even show me my signed copy that the waiter took from me. he finally got over being CHEAP and credited my $ back ... read more

Aubrey/little elm location-worse service I have ever had there tonight! I had to ask someone other than our waitress for another drink! She didn't even being our food out! Had to go to the counter to ask for our check and a to-go box! Not sure what happen in the few weeks that we didn't go but this was absolutely ridiculous service!
