We own and operate a small marina in Northern Ontario Just north of the international boarder beside the UP of Michigan. Van's has been a great resource for us as a small business. There parts counter is second to none and each individual who works that counter in fast and efficient and very knowledgeable. The selection on hand is very impressive as well. We drove over an hour to take our 1993 boat to Van's for repairs after having a nightmare of a time with another boat shop, and that shop having our boat for almost 7 months, even though they promised it would be done in 2 weeks. Brian at Van's was great to work with - he was very prompt with returning phone calls, and keeping us in the loop with what was needing to be done on our boat. I live in NW Indiana and boughtt a used motor from Van's, had trouble with the trim. I contacted them told Van's my problem sent a replacement, received it in two days. Great Service...Friendly People...couldn't be more satisfied!
They totally rebuilt the ignition system on my old 1959 Johnson 18 hp and it starts first pull without even using the choke..great great job fellas...
