Tech was slow and unpleasant. Upsold us against our will and argued to the end that they didn't care about the fact we did not authorize the work and we ended up paying.
Horrible communicators. First time, job took way too long, and the atmosphere while the work was being done was unpleasant. Quality of work was good though so they got a second chance. Second time, job was agreed upon in advance but tech performed unwanted upsells. Management declared they would rather lose business than compromise on an unwanted upsell. When I needed to have three oriental rugs cleaned I called on Vans Carpet Care and I was amazed with the results! My rugs hold sentimental value and in the past I had encountered slick salesman and shoddy service. The first thing that impressed me was learning they go above and beyond by having their technicians professionally trained and certified. Let me tell you, it shows! My first experience with Van's Carpet was when I bought my house. I had my carpet cleaned and all I could say was WOW! The technician, Eric is professional and very knowledgeable. My second experience with Van's was when I had water damage. Mike & Eric came out immediately with equipment. They had to move some furniture, then extract the water and set up some equipment to start drying the areas that were affected. They had my house dry in a short amount of time. Another job well done!!
