Great people with so much knowledge on make up and everything in between. Patrick is so great along with Sharla. Their level of customer service is top notch and I love how they are so friendly and truly genuine people! Not to mention their products are awesome, I love how they are all natural.
Very nice people but I have to say I was disappointed in my bridal make-up. I was expecting it to be more glamorous and dramatic. Besides the fake eyelashes it looked pretty much like my everyday make-up. I also expected the airbrushing to have more coverage with a flawless finish.
Patrick is an amazing make-up artist. His prices are very reasonable, he is fun to be around and he puts his clients at ease. As a photographer, I appreciate his skills so much; he makes my job so much easier. He doesn't just apply make-up, he contours, shapes, shadows, brightens, accentuates and brings life to the faces of his clients. The only thing better than the products they sell is their staff! They hook you up with the product that will best meet what you are wanting to achieve whether that's a concealer to hide your imperfections or the right cleanser to balance out your skin...and the coolest part is sometimes what is best for you is something cheaper than you initially intended on buying! This makeup store has an amazingly creative, authentic and loving vibe! Located on Des Moines new East Village, a truly great find!!! I grew up in Des Moines but haven't been back to visit in over 18 years. I live in Santa Barbara, CA., and perform with 2 dance groups. Patrick has created such a fun and helpful experience for all who love to play with color and beauty!!!
