I have upper back pain around c5 & c6 area and spent years going to Chiropractor which helped but never took the pain away. I went and saw Dr. Fernandez last year and had a ESI (Epidural steroid injection) and the pain went away. For me it lasted almost a year and I went and had it done again. She is a great pain specialist.
I had a very disappointing experience with this doctor. She was arrogant, inconsiderate, and treated me with a sense of superiority completely inappropriate for a medical professional. Her attitude made me feel as if she had previously worked in a correctional facility for dangerous inmates, given the commanding and harsh way she spoke to me. As someone who has lived with a catastrophic illness for eight years and seen many doctors in this country, I have never encountered anyone with such an unkind and insensitive approach.... read more
Excelente servicio humano y doctora, logro aliviar el dolor tan fuerte que tenía en la lumbar a causa de varias hernias inflamadas, y lo dio todo lo q estaba en sus posibilidades para aliviar el dolor, y remediar mi condición, de verdad la recomiendo con los ojos cerrados, y el personal q trabaja con ellas son excelentes personas, te tratan con muchísimo cariño. I had a great experience under Dr Fernandez’s care. I had my first epidural in my lower back. Five weeks later I’m doing great! Pain free for the first time in years. I shouldn’t have waited so long. I know I’m in good hands if I need a future treatment.
Dr. Fernandez is a great doctor that cares deeply about her patients, and I have been seeing her for over 10 years. Whenever there is explaining that needs to be done, she goes into great detail and makes sure you're comfortable and that you understand.
