We had to put our Buster down today after an aggressive illness. The staff was extremely compassionate. Dr V did everything she could go try and save him. He went peacefully with a caring and loving staff. Thank you for that.
Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. All 3 of my dogs love to go because the staff gets on the floor with them, pets them, and makes them feel so comfortable. (With our serious rescue case, we've spent a tremendous amount of time with vets. We tried 2 others before finding our home at Vanguard.)
Everyone in the clinic seems competent, responsible, and responsive to my dog's issues (which are many). He is there primarily for rehab, which definitely has improved his quality of life. But, Vanguard staff are happy to address other issues that arise while he's there for rehab.
I can't say enough good things about this place! Personal and excellent! After going to another vet in town and being less than satisfied, I decided to try Vanguard. I'm so glad I did!
Last summer our dog Max developed a really bad limp in his front shoulder. After several visits to our vet at the time, and a trip to see an orthopedic specialist, we still didn’t have any answers and we weren’t sure what to do next. A coworker recommended that I contact Dr. Vamvakias at Vanguard Veterinary Hospital and we were so grateful to find this incredible facility. This place is amazing! I first took my oldest boxer there for physical therapy. Such a wonderful staff with so many neat ways of trying to help her. From the pool, the jet tub, the lasers, acupuncture, chiropractic care, and regular exercises, the entire staff just seems to do everything they can to help. I ended up taking my boy there that had a large cancer tumor removed by another vet that would not stay closed.
