It has been 4 months since I returned a noisy nebulizer. Many phone calls and still no credit to Blue Cross. Also they could not find my return but luckily I had the slip that was signed by the driver. I am not able to get another nebulizer from another company as you are only allowed one every 5 years. This is the worse company to do business with. Stay away!

The truth is this company was bought by a company in New York called LMI (Landauer Metropolitan Incorporated). Vanguard its self has always been a good company with good people. It's unfortunate that they were bought by LMI because the business has totally changed since then. They don't have as many supplies and things are a whole are just different. So I wouldn't rate them poorly based on my experience with them, but i'll just say that the company that bought them and currently owns them is horrible.

The worst of the worst.. The most apothetic company I have ever dealt with. They don't care about anything, billing is a mess ,and they cut back on or totally eliminate supplies that are due free from Medicare.. You must wait FOREVER to get an appointment and return calls whenever they feel like it. To reiterate... Run Away, Run Away.

An outside company (Landauer Corporation) does the billing. When I called to inquire about an incorrect bill, found their policy is to take your number and call you back at their convenience. When I asked how long this would be, was told "an hour to 24 hours". In fact, much longer and it's been more than once. Ridiculous. And problem is still not resolved. Poor way to treat customers. This billing error is relatively small, but a problem nonetheless. What happens when the error is larger and I need it to be resolved quickly?... read more

I've only had great service from Vanguard. I order my diabetic testing supplies and they are delivered (by mail) in just a few days. Easy to re-order..but would love to see an online option for reorders in the future!

it took me 7 phone calls, 4 customer service reps, 2 delivery supervisors, and a manager to get an item as simple as a walker. i cancelled an important doctor's appointment one a specific day because they were supposed to deliver it on a wed. of course, no one showed up. on the followig day, i spoke to three more people, who told me, in various succession, that it wasn't coming at all because my doctor hadn't approved it (wrong), second reason-they didn't have my phone number (they do, i am a repeat customer), third reason, ... read more
