Dr.Polkowski is my ortho surgeon. Had a total knee replacement. He is an awesome surgeon, with awesome bed side manner. Him an his staff have always been so warm,caring and friendly with any question or anything I've needed. I highly recommend them!
This department at Vanderbilt has my highest recommendation. 9 weeks ago today I was hit by another car in a head-on collision and among my traumatic injuries were a broken arm and lacerated thumb (almost torn off by the airbag). Dr. Jahangir was my hand trauma surgeon and put all the pieces back together again beautifully and Jennifer Farrar has been determined to help me regain use of my wrist and hand again during our twice weekly PT sessions.
