Be very careful of the electricians at this company! Jayson Schultz was the electrician that took my call. He showed up and noticed we both had a encounter off of craigslist. He walked right out.

I purchased their expensive warranty following the installation of my new furnace. My furnace stopped working and was charged $200, I thought this was wrong but paid. It stopped working a month later and was charged again $351.50 this time! He said pay now or I will not fix. Being Dec 30 th and 15 degrees out I didn't really have a choice. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CRIMINALS!!

We called to have an AC tune-up. The service technician was very arrogant and belittling, and after he left the AC was working even worse than before he came. He also tried to sell me a new furnace and water heater even though they still work fine, especially the water heater which is only 7 years old!!! My husband called that day and spoke to the tech's manager and was told they would call him back, but here we are 2 days later and still no call! Thank you Vander Hyde – I had used Vander Hyde in the past to repair my Air Conditioner and some other electrical issues but hadn't had not needed a plumber until just recently. My daughter yelled up from down stairs that "gross stuff" was coming up in the shower drain after she had flushed the toilet. They did a great job. My furnace quit, and a lot of places I called said they couldn't even fix a fuel oil furnace. Vander Hyde could. From the moment I made the call to the moment the job was done and the technician was pulling away was less than two hours. Impressive.

Extremely Impressed Our Generac Generator failed to start for the weekly exercise, so we looked online and found that Vander Hyde is a Generac Service provider. We contacted them and scheduled an appointment, the service guy was on time and professional, within minutes he had diagnosed that the battery charger had failed and that the battery had gone dead. We had the plumber out for a problem that he spent 4 expensive hours to diagnose a problem and not fix it at all.We had another plumber diagnose the problem over the phone and send someone out immediately to fix the problem at a fraction of the cost. Generally quite poor in following up with us on this issue. VanderHyde's strength seems to be more new construction than remedies for older home's plumbing issues. Vanderhyde Service I trust VanderHyde Service with all of my heating and cooling needs. They give free estimates and their employees are friendly and polite when they come to the house to service your needs. They often run specials and mail out coupons as well. They were able to work around my schedule each time I needed to make an appointment.
