We found Dr. VanDamia by default. Our previous dentist was having some health issues and had announced he was retiring. When we went in for our initial cleaning and consultation we were greeted with smiling faces from the staff. My teeth were found to be in need of some repairs. Was overcharged by over $150 for a service. Got a pre-authorization for another procedure. Showed up and was told it would be an additional $60. Stated I refused to pay until I received confirmation from insurance company. Scheduled new appointment. Received a letter that I was no longer welcome as a patient. BEWARE
I appreciate Dr. Vandamia’s conservative approach to dental care. I also had a cavity filled today and wanted to cry AFTER because I felt nothing, I was sooo happy! I was not looking forward to getting a tooth filled at all. He is very good!
