lots of monitors , mini theaters, no real art there.... sorry ... building is beautiful and it has 3 floors completely not utilized to the fullest....
Beautiful place, great Victorian architecture and incredible exhibits. The staff were very accomidating including the restaurant on the 2nd floor!

Very modern and some shocking exhibits. Especially loved the music section on mashup and its art.
Life changing obviously collaborative intuition between curators and artists. The audiovisual presentations especially the enclosed private rooms further demanded personal attention to the thought provoking and stimulating subject matter.
Great art exhibits, but the art gallery should be charging their member for the side shows.
Where are your Emily Carrs? Seems nonsensical to me to remove her work from show, wholesale. I came from Scotland to see them. VERY unimpressed.
We loved this museum. The Geoffrey Farmer and Emily Carr exhibits were seriously mind expanding. So much incredible artwork by Vancouver-based artists. A definite must-see.
Good place to visit if you are into modern art. Would say it is lacking in the major classics, but still found very interesting exhibits and installations. I really enjoyed learning about the current Canadian art scene.
