Dr. Van Allan is amazing! I was told how wonderful of a doctor he is and I trust the person I heard that from. I am now able to give MY thoughts as I have met him. I met Dr. Van Allan the morning of my surgery (he was not a random doctor sent for surgery, this surgery was planned so that Dr. Van Allan could be there as a very important person to help my surgery go as planned). I have never written a review for a Dr., but after reading the one review that is posted, I felt it necessary to share my experience. I was referred to Dr. Van Allan by my Urologist after I had a ruptured Angiomyolipoma on my kidney. I was very nervous prior to meeting Dr. Van Allan, as I had read (on the internet, which I don't recommend) what other patients had experienced having an embolization. This is a horrible physician. Very selfish, pompous, and self absorbed individual who clearly only cares about when he gets to go home rather than caring for what’s best for the patients. He is a danger to be around other patients.
