Mark VanSlooten was HORRIBLE!! He was assigned as a guardian ad litem in my case (at the request of my ex-husband) and it appeared to be total corruption from the beginning. He accused me of having Munchausens by Proxy (which meant I was poisoning my son) and had my son taken away. My kids told him their father was violent and he lied in his report to the judge and said there was no violence in the home. I would not recommend Mark for a family law attorney. He did not effectively communicate with me in my case, and has hurt my child in my case instead of helping him. He does not respond to messages and almost seems to play childish games. He is definitly not worth the money spent.
Mark did us well. He was able to get our sons charge reduced and we didnt even have to go to court. I would use him again and you should too!
Mark is the most honest and conscientious attorney I have ever met. He is really and truly concerned about his clients. If you want a lawyer who really cares about you and not the fee, Mark T. Van Slooten is the guy for you!!!!
