While I did not end up in a Van Rooy unit, their leasing team is exceptional. In the last 4 months, I think I've seen over 50 apartments, some owned by Van Rooy, some owned by other companies, and without a doubt, Van Rooy had the most attentive, professional, and kind staff. They are quick to reply, adhere to the information you give them [lots of places will try to upsell you and show you things outside of your stated budget... not sure why.... this group of women never tried to do that]. Van rooy does not care for their residents!!! They just took over Lakota Pointe Townhomes in Liberty Township OHIO, and what they are doing with their residents is so shameful! They are renewing all units in this property and they are not giving people a 1-2 month notice to vacate their units, they are giving them a 3 day notice to vacate! This is so inhumane knowing how long the process is applying somewhere else, and what makes it more upsetting is they know they are kicking you out and they still decide to give you a shor... read more
