This quaint seaside town and charming little hotel right on the water was exactly what we were looking for and needed. We stayed here on our road trip back to WA on the 101. Our room was well stocked, cleaned and had plenty of amenities for us. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice and informative. I love that they have a small store attached to their office and you can buy things you may have forgotten and even some souvenirs. Beautiful fishing resort right on the water with an incredible view of the strait of Juan de fuca. I don't fish there, but my husband does twice a year, every year, during both halibut and salmon seasons. He would never go anywhere else. The rooms are Clean comfortable and the owners are friendly and helpful. Boats are available to rent and the resort has a store for all your tackle and supplies. Loved this place!! I'd had a bad 24 hours and I drug Glenn and Anita through a little of it. So grateful for their hospitality and kindness. I will definitely be back!!

Took my Granddaughter, along with my Sisters to Van River's and we had the most amazing time! Our room had the best view ever. We got to watch an eagle catch a fish and then we were able to go out in the Strait of Juan de Fuca and see whales come up right in front of us! Can't wait to get the place booked for next year! Thank you Van Riper's!
