A recent storm pulled out my satellite antenna along with the mounting bolts, leaving the antenna laying on the roof with two holes open to the inside of the house. I contacted Van Horn Construction to see if they could come out. I heard back from Silas by the end of the day and we arranged a time for him to come out. We've lived in Coon Rapids, MN for many years, which means that we've been through many storms, and have had to have some roofs replaced: and Silas is by far the best roofer in this area! His team is exceptional and Silas himself is amazing to deal with. We had a tree hit our roof and found Van Horn Construction on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) site. We received quotes for a new roof from 3 companies in additionto VanHorn Construction. Sy (VanHorn) was the only one to tell us our roof had enough damage to likely be covered by insurancewhile the other three gave us quotes to pay out of pocket. I understand that the insurance process slows thingsdown but it was so nice to save the money on the roof that we ended up having soffit and fascia done with VanHorn as well. Sy helped us through the process of having our roof covered by insurance when other companies had told us our roof didn't qualify to be covered by insurance. He helped us get the roof covered and even worked with our insurance company to get us new gutters and a new garage door thanks to hail damage. He saved us a ton of money and it was nice to work with the owner of the company even though insurance slowed things down. The work his team did really improved the curb appeal of our house.

We had an excellent experience. They were timely and professional and met or exceeded all expectations. I was surprised they said that they would be able to do a complete tear off and re-roof in one day. They made it happen and even brought in one of their other crews to get it completed. Their guys who did the work were easy to have around, worked hard and cleaned everything up really well. I would definitely recommend. Mark in Plymouth, MN
