A perfect reminder why I have always avoided second hand car dealers. I knew better. Be aware if you do buy from them, they are apparently in the habit of selling cars that they don't even have the title for yet. I paid cash in full for a vehicle then waited almost three weeks for the title. The temporary 30 day license nearly expired and when I did pick it up from them, there was someone else who had also just come in to pick up *their* title for a vehicle they'd already bought. Apparently it's annoying to them when you message asking about the service history of their cars. According to the rep I spoke with they don't have any cars in my (reasonable!) price range without major mechanical issues and it would be a "waste of all our time" to continue speaking with me. (This after I followed up on a car I asked about two weeks ago with no response.) One of the least helpful dealerships I've spoken with and they're apparently not too concerned with the quality of their merchandise.
I bought a car from them AND WE ALL KNOW THE STIGMA OF 82ND CAR LOTS. They have been beyond great. Even after the money exchange. I had a couple issues with the car after I bought it and they have helped me every step of the way. I 100% vouch for their business. I hope the stigma changes at least for them because they are running a very good business. Made me feel so comfortable and not at all pushy when it came to buying. If you are looking for a relaxed but professional atmosphere these are the guys you are looking for to buy a used car from! They're honest, they'll tell you up front about the issues the car may or may not have and allow you to make your own decisions! I would recommend Zach to anyone! He goes above and beyond to make sure his customers needs are taken care of and always strives to send the customer home happy! This place most definitely promotes integrity over profit!
My mom bought a car from Vandoozer 6 or 7 months ago and she had a bad experience BUT since then, new owners took over and fired the creeps. I've been in touch with Dave and he stepped up and fixed some things on the car to make my mom feel better. She was so stressed before and now she's happy with her purchase. Dave says he trying to make this lot a reputable place and so far he's doing a great job. I really appreciate his help and when I'm ready to buy a car, I'll be going there.
