A perfect reminder why I have always avoided second hand car dealers. I knew better. Be aware if you do buy from them, they are apparently in the habit of selling cars that they don't even have the title for yet. I paid cash in full for a vehicle then waited almost three weeks for the title. The temporary 30 day license nearly expired and when I did pick it up from them, there was someone else who had also just come in to pick up *their* title for a vehicle they'd already bought. Apparently it's annoying to them when you message asking about the service history of their cars. According to the rep I spoke with they don't have any cars in my (reasonable!) price range without major mechanical issues and it would be a "waste of all our time" to continue speaking with me. (This after I followed up on a car I asked about two weeks ago with no response.) One of the least helpful dealerships I've spoken with and they're apparently not too concerned with the quality of their merchandise.
Tiffany, and Tim were awesome. They went above and beyond to help while going through the process of purchasing a car. They guided me, and advised on the best thing to do. It was like purchasing a car from your best friends.
I bought a car from them AND WE ALL KNOW THE STIGMA OF 82ND CAR LOTS. They have been beyond great. Even after the money exchange. I had a couple issues with the car after I bought it and they have helped me every step of the way. I 100% vouch for their business. I hope the stigma changes at least for them because they are running a very good business. Made me feel so comfortable and not at all pushy when it came to buying. Dustin (the owner) may be the lowest scum in the auto industry. I’ve never been spoken to like I was by this complete dirtball, when he was buying complete lemons from auction. He is a complete scam and I would never purchase a car from him, I’ve never seen anyone laugh about selling lemons like this man. Note, Ive known him for over a decade, do not trust him or anyone who works for him. AVOID.
