Valvoline is without a doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with. I went in for what should have been the simplest service in the world — an oil change — and instead they managed to destroy my engine. A job that any real mechanic can do in their sleep turned into thousands of dollars of damage to my car, all because of their complete incompetence and carelessness. This place is nothing but a scam. I went on 8/28/2025 to get an oil change. On 9/8/2025, around 8 pm the check engine light started flashing. I took my car to the mechanic on 9/9/2025 and they told me that my car only had around 1.5 qts of oil. It’s unacceptable that I got charged an extra oil charge and for 5 qts of oil when clearly that was not what was put into my car. I have yet to see the level of damage that this carelessness inflicted on my vehicle.
