I had a horrible experience in March 2020 with the manager and corporate sent me $10 off coupons that clearly state CAN be used with other coupons and discounts. Well the tech who was really nice had to get approval for the coupon with the $24.99 oil change offer. The manager came over who I might add is the same one from March and said you can't combine offers. long story short he had to call corporate twice because I told him that wasn't right. Pulled in for an inspection - bay was open and they Pulled it right in. They walked me into the waiting area. I saw them check the lights and was happy they got started right away. Ok gotta say Valvoline has turned a pretty mundane chore of getting your oil changed into a convenience worth the extra cost vs changing it yourself. Now they have drive through oil changes and let you stay in the car from start to finish instead of sitting in what is typically a tiny little dirty waiting room. They give you a menu of oil to choose from and show the cost up front instead of surprising you at the end. To entertain you they have cameras on the screen to show you the process above and below. Got one of my vehicles inspected there. Passed. Tried to renew my registration online, but the system says it has not been inspected. After an hour on hold and on the phone with DMV, it is determined that the inspection tech (Adrian) didn’t put the complete VIN number in. Call Valvoline-Wake Forest and they tell me to bring paperwork up there and they will fix it. Go to Valvoline with paperwork as instructed and then they tell me they have to the vehicle (I was driving a different one) because they have to reinspect it. WHAT... read more
Fast and good service and friendly employees
Was there Wednesday for an oil change and tire rotation. About a mile away after I left I realized someone had stolen a winning scratch off lottery ticket that was there right before I got the service. I was told that the video camera shows it in my passenger side door when the technician opens and then closes the door. WFP were called. The officer asked to see video footage and they refused.
