Two hours for a 15 minute oil changeFalse diagnostics on an oil leak
Was here on a Wednesday afternoon and had a routine transmission flush/service. By Friday morning, my car’s “HOT TRANSMISSION” light was on and dinging. Had to have it towed to the location only to learn the tech who serviced it overfilled the transmission gauge by a quart which caused the pressure release valve to burst. Was leaking transmission fluid. Not returning.
Both my Wife and I brought our cars into Valvoline for oil changes. She drives a 2020 VW Jetta that has been serviced by the dealership. As of this week, the Car is leaking oil I have oil covering the skid plate and my driveway and the car is down about a quart of oil and this has been sitting for over 3 weeks as she works from home. I am a car professional and when I was there for an oil change they lied to me ! They said I had to have the synthic oil change that is what the computer says !I have 130000 miles on my truck over 20 oil changes all ready this is the first time someone said that to me . I must get the most expensive oil change they have ! And if I didnt I must sign off that I refused it .
