Corporate Valvoline didn't want to pay for the damage on my wife's car... after leaving their shop and gathering speed on the highway, the hood popped open and actually hit the windshield and roof - major damage to car... they claim that the hood latch malfunctioned between the time after leaving their shop and the incident. I just had my oil changed in my 2004 Duramax, and was led to believe that they were going to do an oil change and lube. It wasn’t until I paid for everything, that the tech decided to inform me that he wouldn’t be greasing any of the fittings on my truck and I would have to go somewhere else to get that done. He gave conflicting stories, first my truck doesn’t have lubrication points, then Valvoline just doesn’t do that kind of work. So I paid $133.28 for an incomplete job.
